主要的学习和工作简历如下：1994年7月毕业于福建中医学院中西医结合临床专业；同年分配于福建省南平造纸厂医院从事临床内科工作；1996年9月-1999年7月就读于福建中医学院中西医结合临床硕士；1999年8月-2001年2月工作于福建省人民医院内经内科；2001年2月-2005年1月就读于中国科学技术大学生命科学学院攻读遗传学博士学位；2005年3月-2009年9月于哈弗大学公共卫生学院群体遗传学实验室进行博士后研究工作；2009年10月-2008年6月于美国西北大学儿童医院进行博士后研究工作；2008年8月- 于浙江大学公共卫生学院工作；

主要的研究兴趣：慢性复杂性疾病的遗传流行病学研究，包括低出生体重和早产、高血压、糖尿病、代谢综合症和结直肠癌，等。主要是从事人群遗传流行病学研究，通过分析遗传因素、环境因素，及其交互作用对疾病的发生发展的影响，从而阐明疾病的发病机制，为疾病的预防和控制提供基础理论数据。参与过多项NIH的研究课题，包括低出生体重和早产的遗传学研究、儿童食物过敏的遗传流行病学研究、高血压药物基因组学研究，等。以第一作者和共同作者身份发表20多篇SCI论文。
