  Xinzhong Chen, born in 1968, has been being engaged in clinic, teaching, scientific research of anesthesia, especially in obstetrics anesthesia, in Women’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University since he graduated from Zhejiang Zhoushan Medical School in 1987. He was granted master degree in 2002 from Zhejiang University and medical doctor degree in 2009 from Kiel University, Germany. He is well experienced in obstetric anesthesia and analgesia and can deal with a variety of clinical anesthesia for high-risk obstetric patients or other patients. Recently, he is studying on monitoring of depth of anesthesia. Chen published more than 20 national or international scientific papers, among which, one was published in the famous journal Anesthesiology. He also took charge of or participated in several provincial research grants and participated in composition of 3 anesthesia related books.
