Profile

Dr. Hu Hu graduated from Zhejiang University School of medicine in 1996 and received his Ph. D. from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden in 2003. He then worked as a postdoctoral at Center for Molecular and Vascular Biology (CMVB), University of Leuven, Belgium during 2004-2005. He returned to Zhejiang University School of medicine and worked as an associate professor since 2006.
major research interests are the molecular mechanisms involved in platelet activation and thrombosis. We are also interested in elucidating the mechanisms underlying platelet-circulating cell interaction, which are of importance in facilitating the pathophysiological situations such as inflammation and tumor metastatsis.
