Dissecting the uncharacterized, novel virulence mechanisms that are involved in infection of some important bacteria and development of a novel leptospire vaccine
1) Role of c-di-GMP in the regulation of bacterial infection and drug resistance.
2) Epigenetic mechanism of the survival of leptospires in host cells.
3) Development of a MAP vaccine based on the epitope from outer membrane proteins of leptospire.
