Profile

Dr. Ling Shucai is the Director of the Department of Human Anatomy and Head of the Laboratory of Neuroanatomy & Neurodegeneration at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He acts as a professor and a supervisor for doctoral candidates, mainly involving to the Course of Human Anatomy, and Neuroanatomy et al. He is also the President of Zhejiang Province Association for Anatomic Sciences. He has served as Professor and Head of Institute of Nautical Medicine at Nantong Medical College for many years, before joining Zhejiang University in 2002. Dr. Ling graduated from Nantong Medical College of China and received his Master's degrees (1988). In 1996, he earned his Ph.D. degree from Fourth Military Medical University of China. His current research fields are focused on cellular and molecular mechanisms in learning and memory. His research work has been financially supported by National Natural Scientific Foundation of China (NSFC) and Doctoral Fund of Ministry of Education of China (RFDP).
