Liu Zhong is a chief physician of Medicine in the first affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. She graduated from the clinical medicine of Zhejiang Medical University on July 1990, and then took office in the first affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University as a resident. Received her doctorship of cardiovascular internal medicine (M.D/Ph.D) from Zhejiang University School of Medicine on July 1998. She did post-doctoral research work in Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN from July 2004 to July 2006 and promated to chief physician on July 2006. Liu Zhong focuses on fundamental and clinical research of hypertension，heart failure，cardiomyopathy. During the past decades, she has been involved in seven country and government agency topics and published research paper over 28 chapters, eight embodied by SCI/IM.
