Profile

Teng Lisong, MD. PhD., works as a full professor and chief at the Department of Oncological Surgery and the Comprehensive Cancer Center in the 1st Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He is also the Vice Chairman of Cancer Credits in Zhejiang Medical Association. Graduated from Zhejiang Medical University in 1984, he focused his medical research work on photodynamic therapy against cancer and experimental gene therapy with wild-type p53 gene, and got his Master Degree of Medical Science in 1990 and PhD of Oncology in 1994 respectively. During 1997-2000, he went to Cornell University Medical College/ New York Hospital of USA to finish his post-doctor program, and his research works involved in cancer gene diagnosis, cancer gene therapy with telemerase, Cox2 expression in pancreatic cancer and thyroid cancer. In 2000, he moved back China to continue his clinical and academic research work. His research interesting is currently focused on cancer molecular diagnosis, cancer multi-discipline therapy, molecular target therapy and individualized therapy. His Research Support includes sub-project of the national "973" project, sub-project of the national major 863 projects, the National Natural Science Foundation and the Provincial Science and Technology Department Foundation and so on.
