Profile

professor Wang Weilin was born in June 1963 and receive the Doctor/'s degree at Zhejiang University Collage of Medicine.He is now the Dean Assistant of the first affiliated hospital and Deputy director of Hepatobiliary Surgery,PhD,MD and PhD supervisor. He has engaged in clinical surgery, medicine research and teaching for about 25 years and quite familiar with diagnosis and treatment of liver tumors, cholelithiasis, pancreatic tumor, pancreatitis, portal hypertension et al. In january 1997 and september 1999 he went to Department of surgery of Hong Kong University twice for hepatobiliary and pancreatic research. He has participated in surgery of liver transplantation for more than 500 cases under the guidance of academician Zheng Shusen and accumulated rich clinical experience. Now he serves as deputy head of the Ministry of major projects, undertake national, foundation of Zhejiang Province Natural Science and Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Department et al. He has acquired the second award for Nation Science Development and the first award for Science Development of Zhejiang province as a major participant. He has published 110 articles (including sci)and edited six monographs. He is currently the member of Surgery Branch of Chinese Medical Association and vice chairman of Surgical Oncology Chapter of Zhejiang Medical Association.
