Profile

I was graduated from Zhejiang Medical University and got my MD from Zhejiang University in China. I completed my residency and fellowship in renal transplantation at the First Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Zhejiang University. I was promoted the associate professor of Nephrology in 1999 and then the professor in 2004. I am vice-chairman of the Kidney Disease Center at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University in which more than 200 kidney transplantations are operated per year and totally 2800 patients. I was engaged in the treatment and research work of end stage of renal disease for a long time and became an expert on the technique of renal replacement to treat with acute or chronic renal failure and the technique of renal transplantation or combined multiorgans transplantation. I have been an operator in almost five hundred renal transplantations and familiar with most of immunosuppressive drugs. My research interests included recognition and treatment of post-transplant rejections, post-transplant infectious diseases, and long term care of kidney transplantation. Meantime, I have published 30 articles about renal disease in Chinese or in English. As the main guide in the research team, I got a National Scientific Progress Award of second grade and a Scientific Progress Award of Zhejiang Province of first grade. I have already become the member of International Society of Nephrology.
