Yang Shigui, MD, PhD, professor and doctoral supervisor at the Collaborative Innovation Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Infectious Diseases, the State Key Laboratory in School of Medicine, Zhejiang University. His public health and clinical research focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases. He attended a short course on mathematical models of the epidemiology and control of infectious diseases in September 2017 at Imperial College London. He presided over 9 national projects and sub-projects of major projects. He was responsible in constructing the information cloud platform for screening data of major infectious diseases that covered a population size of 28 million. He has published 18 English papers as the first/ co-first author, including Lancet, Lancet infectious diseases, JID, with total impact factor of 142.3 and the most citation has reached more than 452 times in single paper. He won the National Science and Technology Progress Award Special Award (Rank 15), the first prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (Rank 6) and the first prize of China Medical Science and Technology Award by the Chinese Medical Association (Rank 5). He is a Young member of the Digital Medical Association Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Digital Medical Association Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association.
