Dr. Yang, who is specialized in performing refractive surgery, joined the Department of Ophthalmology in the Second affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University in 1994. She became a full professor in 2002. Dr. Yang earned her B.A. M.S. and Ph.D. in Medical College of Zhejiang University. She was a postdoctoral fellow at Schephens Eye research Institute of Harvard University. Dr. Yang's research is focused on refractive surgery including clinical practice and fundamental research. She teaches Ophthalmology at the graduate and undergraduate levels and she chairs the refractive surgery section in the eye center.
