The Core Facilities, Zhejiang University School of Medicine (established in 2010) is a multiple discipline platform comprised of Imaging Facility, Biochemistry Facility, Zebrafish Facility, Chinese Brain Bank, Neuroscience Facility and Institute of Translational Medicine Facility. The Facility, with 26 technicians, is operated under the supervision of 6 full professors.
At present, the Facility has equipped with a series of state-of-the-art, large-scale instruments including: Super-resolution Microscopes (SIM and STORM), inverted and upright Two Photon Microscopes, inverted and upright Confocal Microscopes, Spinning Disk Confocal Microscope, Transmission Electron Microscope, Scanning Electron Microscope, Flow Cytometer, Liquid Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer and Real-time Fluorescence Quantitative PCR.
The Facility provides the first-class support and best services to graduate student and investigators of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and nearby research institutions. We will strive to improve our service and upgrade new techniques and equipment to meet the needs of the researchers. The Facility aims to become a world-class research facility that creates a better environment for the researchers.
