Profile

RESEARCH:
2003.10-present TLR play an important role in innate immunity and its role in chronic hepatitis has received increased attention. To explore the relationship between the TLR and chronic HBV infection, we investigated the expression of TLR and related genes in hepatocytes and the interface of virus proteins of HBV such HBcAg,HBsAg in TLR signaling. The project “Regulation of IFN-beta expression of hepatocytes induced by virus PAMPs and its mechanism (Y207534)”Granted by natural science foundation of Zhejiang province.
2001.10-2003.09 As a Post.D, I do research work in IFN signaling and its function in tumor. We found that IFN play an important role in anti-tumor by increasing the expression of p53 protein to inhibit the growth of tumour cells.
1996.09-2000.06 Ph.D student in Institute of Infectious Disease, Zhejiang University, engaged in DNA vaccines. My doctor dissertation is “Immune response induced in mice by co-delivery of interleukin-18 recombinant and hepatitis B virus DNA vaccines”. In the thesis, we found that the plasmid encoding IL-18 together with HBV S gene DNA vaccines may slightly enhance humoural response and significantly enhance the specific CTL response induced in mice. In the research, molecular cloning, protein expression, detection of CTL response and quantitation of cytokines by ELISA were used.

1991.09-1994.07 Master degree student in institute of immunology, Hunan Medical University. My master dissertation is “Effect of hydrogen peroxide on gene expression of IL-2 in mouse splenocytes”. It is part of project “The relationship of oxygen free radical and IL-2” granted by national nature science foundation, P.R.China. In this thesis, the effect of hydrogen peroxide on IL-2 production and IL-2 mRNA expression in mouse splenocytes was detected by cellular immunological and molecular biological methods such as dot hybridization.
