Profile
Professor Cheng is a director of department of dermatology of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital. She teaches dermatology,Venereology,and Rheumatology to undergraduate and graduate students of the University. She has been appointed as an editor for several medical journals.
Her research is focused on the study of defining pathogenesis and developing therapeutic approaches of some skin disease, such as HPV infection, allergic disease, and autoimmune disease. The broad interest of her laboratory is the investigation of the interactions between HPV and their hosts at a molecular and immune level. Professor Cheng has also pursued her interest in T cell function in autoimmune disease. She is particularly interested in pursuing novel treatments for HPV infections, skin allergy and autoimmune disease. She holds many research funding from NSFC, and provincial government.
