Yan Dong, female, is the associate director 、associate professor、chief physician and graduate tutor of Department of Prosthodontics, Second Affiliated Hospital, College of Medicine, Zhe Jiang University. She is also the member of the Stomatological Association of Zhe jiang Province and the member of the editorial board of Chinese Cosmetic Medical Magazine. As the first author, she has published more than 20 papers on Chinese core periodical, one on SCI. What’s more, she developed the research of the “relationship between occlusal diseases and cervical spine disorder” first in China. Following the theory, she has carried out the prosthodontical therapy to occlusal diseases in the clinic. It has been proved effective and successful, which helped patients relieve from pain. Besides, she has participated in compiling two books named Contemporary Dental-Occlusion published by the People’s Health Publishing Company and Complete Denture Prosthodontical Enchiridion. In addition, she also does some basic research in various fields, such as oral physiology、bio-membrane of implant denture and orofacial pain. Currently, there are 3 projects supported by Department of Science & Technology of Zhejiang Province and Chinese Ministry of Health, which she is in charge of or as the main member joins in. To sum up, she is more than a dental expert.
