Yaping Du ，born in May 1960 . He study medicine from 1979 to 1984 in Zhejiang University School of Medicine, and have worked here since graduation. He studied health Management from 1991 to 1993 for Mater degree in Peking Union Medical University ,and studied family medicine between 2002 to 2005 in Kiel University for his doctor degree. He set a major of health Management and set up the department of family medicine in Zhejiang University in 1997 when he got the title of associate professor and master tutor. He took the lead in launching the programs of general practitioner residency and on-the-job training in 2000, and enriched the department to it top academic position of awarding the degree of master and doctor in family medicine. He trained more than postgraduates，and is the PI of more than ten programs from the National Natural Science Natural Science Fund, Nationnal Science And Technology Fund, International Cooperation Fund and Provincial Fund. He has published more Than 20 articles and textbooks. He is Deputy director of Zhejiang University Institute of Social and Family Medicine, and is also the expert of Moh (Minister of Health) in exploring the human resources for community health service, councilor of Family Medicine Educational Guide Committee of MoE (Minister of Education), secretary of Zhejiang Provinccial Society of Family Medicine.
