MD. chief doctor of Dermatology and Venereology at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital and Zhejiang University’s School of Medicine. Associate chief of the department.
Dr. Zhu has been engaged in clinical work since 1987 and has much experience in diagnosing and treating dermatological and venereological diseases, especially in psoriasis, allergic dermatosis, autoimmune diseases and cosmetics. Her research interest is in the pathogenesis and new therapy of psoriasis, and the role of immunocytes in the development of skin diseases as well.
From 1997 to 2003, she was trained 3 times in Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Kiel University, Germany for 3 years. She also visited Loma Linda Medical Center in USA for 2 months in 2007.
Dr. Zhu has published 50 papers in international and domestic academic journals. Since 2000, 16 papers have been published in journals with SCI index. In the past few years, she has finished several national, provincial and some other projects. At present, a provincial research project concerning p38MAPK and SLE is being studied.
