Dr. Lijun Zhu received her B.S. degree from Department of Biomedcial Engineering, Zhejiang Medical University. After that she was assigned to work at Molecular Biology Lab in the same University. She continued her education after work and got Ph.D degree in 2005. In 2002, the Molecular Biology Lab turned into Neurobiology Laboratory, since then she engaged in teaching and researching in Neurobiology Department. Form March 2003 to April 2005, she worked in City of Hope National Medical Center USA as visiting scientist. In 2006, she had collaborated work in Dr. Jun Xia’s lab in Department of Biochemistry, Hongkong University of Science and Technology for 3 months.
Dr. Zhu’s research interests are ionotropic glutamate receptors, especially about NMDA receptor and AMPA receptor membrane trafficking and synaptic plasticity.
