Delegation from Queensland Healthcare Professional Development Consortium, Australia Visited ZUSM

On April 16th, Karen Thompson, Director of the Center for Health Innovation, Investment and Research, Queensland Health Department, Australia, led a delegation of 22 members of the Queensland Healthcare Professional Development Consortium to visit ZUSM accompanied by the Zhejiang Health and Wellness Committee. Prof. FANG Xiangming, Vice Dean of School of Medicine as well as affiliated hospital representatives from the Office of Scientific Research & Education, Office of Quality Management and Office of International Affairs, had a further talk with the delegation.

Potential cooperation regarding health and hospital management, scientific research and education were discussed. A brief introduction of ZUSM was made by Prof. FANG Xiangming, and representatives from the Second Affiliated Hospital and Affiliated Sir Run Shaw Hospital introduced international exchange programs and general practitioner training programs. Meanwhile, the delegation introduced Queensland's healthcare advantages and highlighted research, leadership and nursing training programs. 

Queensland Healthcare Professional Development Consortium is comprised of 12 quality education institutions and health care bureaus domestic, which is designed to provide a full range of health care personnel training and professional training programs. It is full of knowledge, skills and expertise in the field of medical education and training, while the Health and Wellness Bureau is rich in resources of  specialist training and integrated health services. Also, it is effectively combines the strengths and resources of each member unit to provide high quality education and training programs based on scientific research results.
