My research in the past further improves the concept of “emergency operations for neonates and infants with critical congenital heart diseases (CHD)”: attach importance to the combined internal medicine and surgery for CHD treatment, extend the surgical treatable range of CHD, help more patients alleviate the suffering and recover early, and effectively control the operative mortality of neonates and infants. By the genetic research on the onset and development mechanism of postoperative severe infection and organ dysfunction, we prove the viewpoint that genetic substance adjusts the intense of infection responses, which will help to guide the prevention and treatment (immunological and genetic) of the systemic infection and associated diseases. My focus in the future is “the clinical and experimental research on improving the surgical treatment effect for infantile critical and complicated congenital heart diseases” and “study on the mechanism, the prevention and treatment of postoperative severe infection and organ dysfunction”.
